1949 RCA Victor Victrola Radio

This 1949 RCA Victor Model Victrola 9-Y-7 looks and sounds pretty good for having been around for close to 71 years. The radio has been refurbished such that it now plays fairly well across the Broadcast band. The 45 RPM record player powers up, but does not play. As with all vacuum tube radios, it takes a few minutes to warm up before playing. The wooden case is in good condition, considering its age, having only a couple areas that could use a Formby’s (or equivalent) refinisher. This radio is both a functional unit as well as an interesting decorative piece for just about any room in the house!
